The agencies
The more containers that are moved in our terminal, the greater the benefit for the agencies; they are representatives of the shipping lines in Uruguay. They collect fees from importers and exporters, and organize service and supplies for the ships (fuel, tug boats, water and food, etc.)
The forwarders
The forwarders represent the importers and importers. They reserve the freight and organize transportation of goods to and from the terminals.
The customs brokers
Customs brokers take care of Customs paperwork for imports and exports. They prepare the documents, represent the importer or exporter before Customs, and arrange payment of Customs fees. They are responsible for classifying the goods under the correct Customs code and for doing the correct calculation of taxes and fees to be paid by their customers.
